I like this. It makes me imagine a forest theme, especially with the arpeggio

damianbuys355 responds:

Thanks, I appreciate it. Never really thought of it like that.

I'm imagining the room now, it has many purple curtains of different hues and fabrics hanging down from above, arranged such that compliment each other, and you can barely see further than a few feet in front of you, yet it doesn't feel claustrophobic. A strange place, yet you feel you are not in danger.

Very nice piece.

PhantasmosTheData responds:

Thank you for your beautiful feedback. I will use this comment for my compilation post of feedbacks.
The Purple Room corresponds to souls experience during the life it previously had. I imagine mine as a cave, with bed, carpet and a dusty bookshelf. The floor is uneven and bumpy, around everything is a stream of water, creating a small isle. It is unbothered, lonely, but not sad. Just very pretty.

I'm getting Legend of Zelda OOT Ice level vibes mixed with Stardew Valley vibes, and I really like what I'm feeling with this

Zechnition responds:

Thanks! I definitely used a little bit of stardew valley as inspiration, but I interestingly enough haven't played oot yet. botw's soundtrack is deeply ingrained into me so there's probably something from there that overlaps.

I can imagine this being played during an ending sequence similar to Super Mario World's, like walking through various stages of the game with all the different characters following behind you. Very nice.

BakiTheFox responds:

Exactly! Thank you!~

I'm really digging them staccato strings you got going on here, really creates a suspenseful and tense feeling

pertuami responds:

I'm glad you liked it. Have you got any clients on this platform?

I like this, but It feels somewhat underdeveloped. I kept expecting to hear a new instrument to flesh out the piece a bit more but it never came. Very unique piece with good potential.

NekoNoShinigami responds:

I couldn't do anything with that though, sadly It was difficult to pick the right instrument with right melody thanks to the melody I came up with in the very beginning. I still am a beginner, and I make lots of errors. Thanks for a nice review by the way!

I really liked this one, it had a strangeness I really dig. The ending kinda falls flat though, but I don't know how best to end it. maybe have the bass cut out and the lead resolve itself into a smooth transition so that it could turn into a smooth loop from the ending to the intro?

But that's just something I'm hearing in my own head. Either way it's a good track, kudos.

Noiseman responds:

since i had made this track in a weird pentatonic key i couldnt use the usual tricks i usually pull to create a satisfying ending. cheers for the kind words anyway mate!

Composer. I make music. Different kinds of music. "I don't stick to any one genre" kind of music. Hit-or-miss music. Audio experiments abound here
